Kelly LaRue

larue-kelly-color-3294I’m Kelly and I have been part of the Holcomb Law family for over 8 years now. I have several jobs here at the firm: Marketing Director, Office Manager, and Paralegal. I truly believe in our mission and what we stand for here and that makes it such a rewarding place to be.

A little bit about me: I grew up in Franklin, Virginia. I graduated from Christopher Newport University and continued on to graduate school at Longwood University where I got my masters in Criminal Justice. Before joining Holcomb Law, I worked for the Division of Child Support Enforcement for 4 years.

I live in Poquoson with my husband, son, dog, and cat. Together, we enjoy watching movies, spending time with our friends, and planning trips to Disney World.

Kellie Riley

Hi! I’m Kellie Riley and I am the bookkeeper for Holcomb Law.

I am a native of Hampton and currently live in Newport News. I have been married to my husband, Wade, for over 20 wonderful years. I have 3 children (Ethan, Evan and Leah) and 2 rescue dogs (Lucy and Waya).

In my spare time, I enjoy camping, scrapbooking – and crafts of all kinds, spending time in the sun, and listening to music. I love God, my family, and animals of all sorts!

Janeel Payton

Hi! My name is Janeel and I’m the Intake Specialist at Holcomb Law. I graduated magna cum laude from Hampton University (Go Pirates!) in 2016. I’ve been in the law field for about 7 1/2 years and love everything about it.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Kenneth for 14 years. I have worked in a couple of law firms on the Peninsula for the past 5 years and I am so excited to join the Holcomb Law team! In my free time, I operate as a freelance makeup artist, enjoy working in my church, hanging out with friends, and sushi date nights with husband.

Dawn Craig

Hello! My name is Dawn. I have over 15 years of experience in the legal field. I am so excited to bring my knowledge to such an amazing law firm. Here at Holcomb Law, I am the criminal paralegal for Earl Wheeler.

I was born in the Hampton Roads. I am a proud firefighter wife and a mommy to our little mermaid, 2 labs, and a cat. In our free time, we love to spend time with our family and friends, go out on our boat, or keep our toes in the sand.

One of my favorite quotes is: “Everything happens for a reason.”

Katie Betz

Katie Betz, ParalegalHi! My name is Katie and I am a family law paralegal here at Holcomb Law. I have close to six years’ experience as a paralegal and legal assistant which has provided me with exposure to many different areas of law. I studied Criminal Justice at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania and later earned my Paralegal Certificate. I’m thrilled to be bringing my knowledge to Holcomb Law!

A little about me: I was born and raised in New Jersey but have lived throughout the country, most recently moving from Washington state to Virginia – getting back to my east coast roots! I am proud Navy wife and dog mom to our rescue pup. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, Notre Dame football games, and “helping” my husband in the garage with car projects.

Dayna Omary

Dayna Omary, ParalegalHello! My name is Dayna, I am paralegal here at Holcomb Law. I began my journey as a Family Law Paralegal in Fairfax, Virginia in 1993. I would not choose a different area of law to work in. My passion is helping families and individuals and navigating them through the legal process, during some of the most difficult and trying times in their lives while striving to help them obtain the best result possible.

I am a Colorado native, raised at the base of the foothills. I am a Mom to four amazing children and “Lolli” to a spunky and energetic grandson. I love spending time with family, lounging in the pool, sitting around the firepit; and county living since my transition from the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia. To unwind, decompress and release stress, I take long rides down country roads, or any road, on my Harley.

Jess Allen

Jess Allen, ParalegalI’m Jess and I’m one of the paralegals at Holcomb Law. I handle all of the personal injury cases. I have over 20 years of experience in the legal field.

When I’m not working (which is rare), I love spending time with my husband and our 4 children. I also enjoy cooking with my husband, watching sports, and painting. I’m excited to be a part of the Holcomb Law team and am happy to be able to help our clients with whatever issue they may be facing.

Chandler Holcomb

Chandler Holcomb, Legal AssistantHello, my name is Chandler! I work here at Holcomb Law as a Legal Assistant currently, with aspirations of completing law school in the upcoming years. I went to Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated in 2018 with a degree in Old Testament and Judaic-Christian Studies. Shortly afterwards, I launched to the missions field in Lima, Perú, and recently returned in June of 2020.

I have had a wonderful transition back to living stateside, and look forward to going back to school next fall to study law. I am excited to study this great profession and see where a career in law can take me. When I am not studying or working, I enjoy just about any sport, adventures with friends, and joyrides on my Harley.
