I’m Kelly and I have been part of the Holcomb Law family for over 6 years now. I have several jobs here at the firm: Marketing Director, Office Manager and Paralegal. I truly believe in our mission and what we stand for here and that makes it such a rewarding place to be.
A little bit about me: I grew up in Franklin, Virginia. I graduated from Christopher Newport University and continued on to graduate school at Longwood University where I got my masters in Criminal Justice. Before joining Holcomb Law, I worked for the Division of Child Support Enforcement for 4 years.
I live in Poquoson with my husband, son, dog, and cat. Together, we enjoy watching movies, spending time with our friends, and planning trips to Disney World.
Hi! I’m Kellie Riley and I am the bookkeeper for Holcomb Law.
I am a native of Hampton and currently live in Newport News. I have been married to my husband, Wade, for 19 wonderful years. I have 3 children (Ethan, Evan and Leah) and 2 rescue dogs (Lucy and Waya).
In my spare time, I enjoy camping, scrapbooking – and crafts of all kinds, spending time in the sun, and listening to music. I love God, my family, and animals of all sorts!
I’m Tracey Merrill, I am the Personal Injury Specialist and I just celebrated my one year anniversary with the firm. Before joining the Holcomb Family, I worked for several other firms in the Tidewater area. I relocated from North Carolina approximately 13 years ago. I met my husband Seth July 2011, and we will celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary July 3, 2018.
When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, make crafts, paint, and love on my feather children. I have 10 birds, mostly rescues, that vary from Quaker Parakeets, Cockatiels, Lovebirds, Budgies and an Ornate Lorikeet named Larry the Lorikeet McSquawkenator, III. I’m active with my church and a founding member for the Hampton Roads Elevation Church watch party right here in the 757.
I am James and I’m the senior paralegal at Holcomb Law. I have dedicated the majority of my adult life to family law, helping those through a difficult transition. Prior to becoming a paralegal, I served in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer.
You could say that protecting and serving others is my passion. In my spare time you can find me at the gym or relaxing in front of the TV watching a game. I have custody of my teenage son and he keeps me entertained as well as my two dogs.
Hi, my name is Kat and I am the criminal law paralegal here at Holcomb Law! Before I started my career with Holcomb Law, I spent four years in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Boatswain Mate responsible for aiding in the launch and recovery of aircraft. I trained as Legal Assistant and became a certified tax representative for three years.
I was born and raised in Georgia, but moved to Newport News where I attended high school. I am a connoisseur of horror movies, play the Drums as well as the ukulele. I enjoy working with the attorney’s and staff through the course of our representation of clients. No one ever hopes they will need a criminal attorney, but when they do, we are here to help them achieve the best result possible with personal and professional understanding.
Hi, my name is Brooke Hogge and I am a family law paralegal here at Holcomb Law! Before I started my career with Holcomb Law, I spent three years with a law firm in Virginia Beach assisting in the practice of civil litigation, family law, personal injury, and immigration. I am excited to bring my previous experience to the Holcomb Law team and to be apart of the rewarding atmosphere that the entire firm – attorney’s and staff – provide here. It’s truly wonderful to be with a firm that genuinely values helping people.
A little bit about me: I was born and raised in North Dakota and will forever be a mid-western girl at heart, can’t shake those roots! I graduated from the University of North Dakota with bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and English. Throughout my time at the University of North Dakota, I was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority, of which I am now an alumna participating with local alumnae clubs in the Tidewater Region.
I have one daughter and one son at home whom keep me busy when I’m not at work. Together we enjoy beach days during the summer, going to the zoo, or attending the variety of festivals that the Hampton Roads area offers seasonally. My daughter participates in dance classes and my son plays soccer, both at the local YMCA – both of which are things I take great enjoyment in watching them do.
