Hi, my name is Nora and I am very excited to be a part of the Holcomb Law team!
I am a native of the great state of Pennsylvania, but Hampton Roads has been my home for most of my adult life. I graduated from high school right here in Newport News before going off to serve in the United States Marine Corps. I knew even then that I had a passion for helping others and I knew I wanted to be a lawyer.
I am an alumna of the University of North Carolina, at Wilmington and Regent University School of Law. Since graduating from law school, I have primarily practiced criminal law and family law throughout South-Eastern Virginia. My path has led me from operating a solo law practice, to working as a public defender, a prosecutor, and I’ve even been an attorney at Legal Aid.
Although I’m experienced in many areas of law, I’ve always felt especially connected to clients who are dealing with the stress of divorce and custody. I know it’s a difficult process and one in which people often feel alone. I believe an important part of what I do involves walking through this process alongside my clients and being their voice when they are most vulnerable.
When I’m not here at Holcomb Law, I’m usually gardening and hanging out with my plant babies! Otherwise, you’ll find me at local arts festivals or spending time with family and friends.
