I hail from a small town in northeast Ohio. While I was in elementary school my father was stationed at Langley Air Force Base (now Joint Base Langley-Eustis) and even as a child I knew this area was special. I fell in love with Hampton Roads so much so that after joining the ranks of the most dominant air power in the world myself, I selected it as my first option for permanent duty. After completing two enlistments, I chose to pursue my childhood dream of becoming an attorney (an ambition set by too many Matlock and Perry Mason reruns growing up) and attended and graduated from Regent Law.
After having spent time in both the corporate world as in-house counsel and in private practice, I have handled and helped my clients through a wide variety of legal issues. What I love most about my legal practice is being able to connect with my clients, hear their stories, and create solutions to their problems with my words. My goal is to get my client where they want to be, whether I am drafting estate documents for legacy planning or helping a business with the next step of their entrepreneurial adventure. It is always inspiring to me how keyboard strokes on a blank page can change someone’s life.
I currently live in Hampton with my beautiful wife and two of my three children (the oldest attending and soon graduating from The Ohio State University). My wife and I are very active in our church’s children’s ministry, and I enjoy college football, movie quotes, and spending quality time with my family.
